Late spring through early autumn tends to be the most practical window for pressure washing in Victoria. Surfaces dry faster in warmer weather, which matters both for the finished look and for reducing the chance of mould or algae taking hold again in damp, shaded areas straight after a clean.
That said, driveways and paths that see heavy shade or constant moisture, think areas under trees or south-facing surfaces that rarely get direct sun, tend to build up grime and mould faster year-round and may need attention outside the ideal seasonal window regardless.
The bigger factor is usually visible build-up rather than the calendar. Oil stains, dark mould patches, or a driveway that's noticeably darker than when it was laid are the real signal it's time, whatever the season.
