Driveways and paths take the most consistent wear, tyre marks, foot traffic and constant exposure to the weather make them the fastest to visibly darken with grime. They're usually the first place people notice needs attention, and often the easiest to justify cleaning regularly.
Decking and outdoor entertaining areas come next, particularly where furniture sits in one spot long enough to trap moisture underneath. Fences, especially colorbond and timber, fade and streak with mould faster than most people expect, particularly on the shaded side.
Garage floors and building entrances round out the list, both take on oil, dust and general grime that builds up gradually enough to go unnoticed until it's fairly obvious. A seasonal check of these five areas is a reasonable way to stay ahead of it rather than waiting for a visibly dirty property to prompt action.
